GS Elements enables people to store, manage, assessment and submit environmental data in a cloud-based secure data management system. We are a web-based system used by environmental programs in tribes, states, municipalities, and volunteer groups.
Providing personal information implies consent to publicly access the information registered users voluntarily provide in the GS Elements User Detail section including but not limited to name and contact information. Personal information may also be voluntarily displayed in submission of environmental records as the ‘publisher’ to USEPA.
If you are concerned about sharing personal information and having this information accessible to your system admins or as it may become accessible if this policy changes to comply with industry standards and best practices, please reach out to your system administrator for your organization about other options for capturing user information for your organization without housing your name or contact information.

Registration
User accounts are required to access GS Elements. The information required to create a new account includes a user name, first and last name, password, and email address. Providing this information means that you acknowledge the information is yours and only yours and that you allow others including Gold Systems, Inc. to identify you to the extent outlined in this Privacy Policy.
Demographic Profile
Sharing personal information in addition to registration requirements is voluntary but will improve your experience on GS Elements.
Registered users may provide additional personal information in the User Detail section including an email address, country of residence, and postal code. These fields are only available to view yourself or by your system administrator for your organization (if that is someone other than yourself). You may modify all fields at any time.

Gold Systems, Inc. may collect information from the system, including in reports related to security, requests for information, login attempts, server usage, and user errors/messages to help to provide efficient and accurate customer service.
Consent to Gold Systems, Inc. Processing User Information
Providing information required to open a GS Elements account, access the GS Elements website and providing personal demographic information means you expressly and voluntarily consent to and accept the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and associated Terms of Use agreement. Gold Systems, Inc. may use this information according to its sole discretion or as required law.
Communication from Gold Systems, Inc.
Gold Systems, Inc. communicates with its registered users via email, notices posted on the website and reserves the right to communicate using other media that may become available in the future. Creating an account and becoming a registered user assumes responsibility for any service fees for communications sent using a carrier with whom users have a land, mobile or other communication service contract or subscription including text messaging charges for messages to mobile devices.
Message content may include but is not limited to welcome emails, password reset notifications, updates regarding new features and functionality and proper functioning of your account. Gold Systems, Inc. will not send you promotional material at this time but reserves the right to modify this policy. Users retain the right to opt out of receiving promotional material. Gold Systems, Inc. may be required by law to disclose personal information of registered users including but not limited to civil or criminal subpoenas. Personal information will only be disclosed when we have a good faith belief that it is necessary to comply with a court order, ongoing judicial proceeding, subpoena, or other legal process or request to Gold Systems, Inc. brought in any country throughout the world, or to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
